Is WLREID a staffing company?

Yes but with a difference. Our staffing practice was initially formed to staff OUR projects. As we grew we understood that our expertise could also be brought to bear for clients trying to staff THEIR projects. The result is a highly focused cost-effective staffing function based on an exclusivity model. Our model is streamlined, tailored, agile, and speedy. We produce the highest probability of finding the right talent the first time. Instead of presenting our clients with hundreds of candidates to sort, we present a few great candidates. Our clients need a partner, not a collection of vendors overloading their mailboxes with resumes hoping their candidate is chosen.

How does WLREID use SMEs ? 

We utilize vertical market SMEs to complete our project teams. WLREID has extensive expertise and on staff SMEs in the horizontals associated with program and project delivery. However, we cannot possibly staff SMEs in the many vertical markets where we offer solutions. This is where we opt to use SMEs on an as-needed basis.

What are WLREID's priorities in hiring internal staff?

First, let's separate hiring priorities between our own internal staff versus hiring and staffing for our clients. Internally, we are very interested in assessing motivation, enthusiasm, and aptitude more than meeting every hard requirement for the position. We believe that high intelligence combined with the intangibles will allow newly hired personnel to absorb and learn necessary hard skills quickly. This has been our experience over the last 20 years.

Is WLREID a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)?

WLREID is not a "certified" DBE. WLREID's principals however have extensive experience with DBEs, have been employees of DBEs & 8(a) companies, and understand the special challenges that these companies face. We are dedicated to assisting certified DBEs in their growth journey. We do not compete in the DBE space but achieve growth by supporting the activities of DBE clients and building long-term relationships with those entities. This strategy puts our DBE partners at ease when bringing us into client relationships.

Does WLREID work with independent salespeople?

Absolutely. If a sales professional wants to remain independent but has built a portfolio of clients and opportunities, we want to work with that professional. We can develop those opportunities to ensure the sales professional is compensated based on a negotiated compensation plan. Let's create a win-win scenario.

Does WLREID maintain a SCIF?

No, though WLREID's founders held top-secret clearances in the past, WLREID does not hold contracts that require a SCIF and does not maintain any active clearances.

Does WLREID accept subcontractor roles?

Yes. We absolutely will subcontract to your organization in support of YOUR customer. Likewise, we don't hesitate to subcontract part of our effort to other partners.

Does WLREID consider C2C arrangements?

Yes. We enthusiastically work with any legal entity as long as there is a valid "certificate in good standing" issued by the State or Commonwealth of origin.

Does WLREID utilize master service agreements to onboard project personnel?

Yes. We believe that properly formed master service agreements (MSAs) in the B2B and B2G space are invaluable to establish base terms so that augmenting, modifying, or changing personnel on a project or annual service contract creates a smooth process for us and our customers.

Is WLREID a remote work advocate?

Yes, we believe that professionally mature personnel are more productive in a remote work arrangement, particularly when faced with long commute times to the office near urban areas. We understand the bonding argument for personnel being co-located and we address that issue through other means like offsite "all hands" meetings and presentations.

Does WLREID maintain a brick-and-mortar presence?

Yes, but wait. Many of our service delivery personnel report to locations dictated by the client. The client may require on-site full-time, hybrid, or 100% remote. We maintain relationships with virtual office providers like Regus to bring our HQ staff together "under one roof" for internal meetings and other "all hands" business events. We believe we are more productive this way and it positively impacts overhead costs allowing us to be more price competitive in the marketplace.
